At the beginning of this story: Tom has reached success at a young age, brought honor to his family, but feels like there's something missing from his life.

German/Galic: Name means: Genuine, bold, courageous, and servant of the Bishop. Arch is a bit of an enigma. Having been part of various wars including religious persecution in Scotland. After moving to Northern Ireland and then the Americas, with family to flee such persecution and discrimination, Arch and his brother were forced to fight in the American Revolutionary War against the British. Left for dead on the battlefield, Arch was turned by Christian missionaries of Abel's coven.

His name means: problem in Arabic. Being apart of the Ottoman Empire after his father, uncles, cousins and brothers died, he was left for dead when the Ottomans went to war with Italy in 1811 and was turned by local Muslim tribesmen, who were vampire.

Name means: hope to be rescued from danger. Nadia is the apparent doppelgänger of Miro's late wife. She was adopted by a decent middle class family after her mother (a refugee) died during childbirth after fleeing from Kuwait during the Gulf war in 1991. Eventhough she had a great relationship with her adopted mother and siblings; after being abused by her adopted father, she coped by getting in to nacromancy in and an attempt to contact her late relatives and gain identity. This decision launched her into witchcraft.
